fitness first!

Finally i have done sumthin i have been puttin off for a while. Mind u ,it was not coz i dint want to it was just laziness on my part…So u ask what is it….Well i have joined Gym…:) ya that simple sentence warrants a smiley….We had recently shifted to a new locality and there is a grt gym rite behind our building. So i have enrolled and its a good feeling. The plus points are u can go anytime and for whatever duration u want , 10 mts or 2 hrs totally up to u…Thats cool…

I am lukin forward to it every day now and lets see, if i am lucky i might meet sum amazin peeps there n forge sum frnships. I have joined with the goal of toning down a bit and basically just to get out of the house and off the TV.( A little losing the Pounds wud be added benefit) I luv tv u see so i watch it a lot n i thot a little bit of activity wont hurt.Plus i get to plan my day acc to whenever i feel like gyming and that works gud for me as i tend to procastinate things ( read household work) to the last minute. Havin a constant thing in my schedule(??) allows me to wrap my head around the chores nicely!  So Happy Gymming!:))

Generation gap???

Have you ever seen the serial navya?  if not i will give u a brief.. its about 2 college going lovers Anant and navya who have fallen in love but their families are against them and against each other. Now thats a common reaction but the way it was shown on tv was not common. The parents of both navya n anant got to know about their relationship in a common relatives marriage.

Now the thing which i couldn’t digest was the way both families were portrayed. Both the families are highly cultured families. Yet they behaved in such shocking manner that too when a wedding is happening at somebody else’s place.  This topic is very real but whose parents create such a scene in real life had this situation taken place. ?? They were shown to be calling each other names and tarnishing each other’s reputation..and anant and navya has such expressions as if they have murdered sumbody….a huge drama was created and guests in the wedding  started to notice. In real life the parents would talk to their wards privately and settle the issue once they get back to their respective homes. Instead the exact opposite was shown. In fact the kids were shown placating them. So my point is  please start showing things which we can relate to…not such dumbness….

Yummy Breakfast

Hi…Below you see the pic of our latest fav bfast.Kay likes it immensely as its very light. Its a savoury dish made with Rice vermicilli and adapted from Mum’s kitchen…I have of course made my additions to the dish.

I know the pic is not very flattering.:P I will try n take better ones with lots of light .. I promise!

Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients:

Rice vermicilli 250 gm

Frozen mix veg one cup ( beans, corns, green peas, carrots) I have added fresh potato and green bell pepper too.

oil

Onion medium  chopped

Mustard seeds 1 tea spoon

salt to taste

red chilli powder 1 teaspoon

Tomato ketchup 1 tablespoon

Lime juice 2 tablespoons

Method:

Boil 1 measure of vermicelli in 3 measures of boiling water, stir for 6-7 mts on medium flame, drain n keep aside.

Heat oil in a pan n once hot add mustard seeds in.

After mustard seeds splatter ,add chopped onions n fry till golden Brown.

Throw the veggies in n stir fry. Add red chilli powder n salt n stir till veggies are tender.

Now add the vermicelli n cook for 1-2 mts. Add Tomato ketchup  acc to taste.

Add 2 tablespoons of lime juice, mix well n serve hot.

PS- If you have curry leaves , then add those too once the mustard splatter. It is very aromatic. I didnt do it as in dint have any. Also as the garnish u can add chopped coriander. I dint do it as…….u guessed rite… i dint have any!:))

All is well that ends well

Well a great saturday eve came to an end but it was a good one..Lots of grocery n household shopping together with Kay…earlier in the eve we both kind of got tired of watchin movies bak to bak n TV in general…the outing made us connect n share n by the end of it we were happy…:) ting!!
This is generally not the case when we go grocery shopping…its just a tedious chore for us but today was different. After that had a scrumptious dinner n all is well in the paradise…Nite nite to all the gorgeous ladies n handsum gentle men…bbys…zzzzzzzzzz

Hello!!

Hello people…I am a stay at home wife, in my late twenties with no kids as yet.I have been married for 2.6 years to a fabulous man. Lets call him Kay over here. I have a pretty regular life usually divided into weekdays and weekends.:) M a dreamer..I love my family, believe in God n take each day as it comes.

This is my first…no …second attempt at blogging…Lets say 2nd attempt at trying to blog…Here you will find the daily hum drums of my life…, what i am doing, what i have cooked, where am i going , why i am happy / sad/ disappointed/elated etc….well u get the idea…This will be accompanied with lotsa pictures( i hope) links, vdos …One more thing..I mostly write in sms mode…so pl dont mind my spellings and/or grammer…
